But this short interruption to the relaxing life on the French Riviera usually lasts only briefly, and you can turn again to the delights of the local cuisine.

As befits an area with a long tourist tradition, including for upmarket demands, everything is dreamlike not only in terms of landscape, but even the Frenchman, otherwise known for being rather unenthusiastic about foreign languages, is entirely open to the world. So in this wonderful place you can communicate without a problem even without knowledge of French, as long as you are open yourself to other peoples and their customs. After all, the whole world comes to visit and enjoys luxurious holidays by the Mediterranean. As long as you know where to look, enchanting treasures can reveal themselves, since each of the luxurious estates on the Côte d’Azur is well hidden. Who knows whether you might not meet your favourite actor in the supermarket? In any case, Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are worth a short trip.

The main thing on the Côte d’Azur, however, is that people talk about it. How beautiful the landscape is and the never extreme climate cannot be learned from picture books; you have to have experienced it. With suitable expectations of location and facilities, anyone can afford such a little adventure.
